Our graduating seniors wrote thank-you notes, reflecting on their time at UIC and the friends, family, and instructors who helped them along the way. We’re sharing these notes all week for A Week of Gratitude.
Shout out to TA and soon to be Ph.D. graduate, Alison Moss. Where would I be if I didn’t know you? Thank you for everything.
I would like to thank the professors I have had throughout my career as an undergraduate because they played a big role in making me passionate about sociology, and in my career choice. I would like to especially thank Lisa Berube – whom I had for my intro to sociology class and a 200-level elective – who opened my passion for sociology. I would like to thank Alison Moss – whom I had for 3 semesters – who helped me to think critically and apply sociology in the real world. I would also like to thank the SOC 490 team for all their career-building tips and experiences.
Thank you mommy! (Debra Ann Neely) I love you!
It is hard to believe that graduation day is already almost here. I would not have been able to make it this far without the motivation and help from my mother, father, sister, Amy Kelly DiGregorio, and her family, and from all my friends and family.
I just want to say thank you to my family for your support and keeping me sane!
